Rapid Results
The entire district has begun Rapid Results projects aimed at improving student achievement. Every school and every department is participating and has undertaken a 100 day project to improve our educational outcomes. It is our collective goal as an organization to improve student achievement and these small projects will help to do that building by building and in each our respective departments.
The Rapid Results Approach is a structured process led by experts from Schaffer Consulting. The approach is designed to mobilize teams so that they achieve tangible results while allowing the staff to learn along the way. The 100-day projects engage the creative energy of people at all levels of the organization. Each project aims to achieve a meaningful, important result. In addition, the projects are designed to generate new insights about longer-term goals and to develop the new skills and confidence to achieve them.
The projects are wide ranging in scope but must be focused on improving student achievement.
These individual projects will lead to larger initiatives that we can take to scale across entire departments, schools and even district wide. They will help to change the culture in our buildings while helping teachers and administrators better understand their student achievement data. They will learn how to use the data to drive instruction.
These short, small scale projects are intentional in design and should, when successful really help to build momentum, raise awareness and increase academic performance. We will continue to provide updates on the status of the projects as we work through the 100 days.
