The deadline to apply for the Go Green Grants from the Syracuse City School District Educational Foundation is fast approaching. All grant applications must be postmarked no later than the August 13, 2010 in order to be considered for funding. Aspiring 9th grade female scientists and mathematicians from Nottingham High School attended

The Syracuse City School District recently was honored with the first "Green of the Crop" award in the Educational and Community Organization category. The SCSD and it's "Go Green" team were recognized for their many green efforts including the rain garden at Henninger, the composting projects at Fowler and Seymour and the overall district wide recycling program.
