The Syracuse City School District believes that one of the most important ways we can help our children perform better in their classrooms is to provide them with the nutrition necessary for the healthy growth of minds and bodies. The Food Services Department provides more than 7,300 breakfasts and 14,200 lunches in our buildings daily. To ensure that the Food Service Department is aware of your child's particular dietary restrictions, such as allergies or diabetes, a parent must submit a doctor's note to the school nurse yearly.
