ITC students and area teens were treated to a holiday party at the Central Branch of the Onondaga Public Library. As part of a collaborative effort between the ITC library and the Central Branch, ITC students Brittany McIntosh, Cornelius Carswell, Mussaya Thanthima, Najah Acosta, and Kaila Prevost helped Ms. Melton plan a holiday party for area teens.

Everyone had a great time making scarves, cards, and paper snowflakes and ornaments. There were games to play and cookies to decorate (and eat).

“It was an interesting experience teaching others how to create items like scarves and paper snowflakes. I had an enjoyable time doing this and I’m hoping to be able to do it again later down the line.” ~Brittany

“The holiday event was extraordinary, my scarf came out great and the joy on everyone’s faces was memorable.” ~Cornelius

“I had a lot of fun, eating cookies, having a good laugh, and making some cool scarfs. This was a very fun experience for me.” ~Johnny
