Free Seminar for SCSD Parents

The Syracuse City School District is hosting a free parent seminar on The Nurtured Approach- Helping Children Flourish Emotionally, Academically, & Socially. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 6:30-8:00 PM at the Expeditionary Learning Middle School (4942 S. Salina St.).

Parents will learn the core elements of the Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA) and how to implement them within their home. The NHA is an internationally recognized parenting model and social–emotional approach used by countless families and schools. The NHA teaches parents how to stop nagging, lecturing, yelling and feeling overwhelmed with parenting and help you build solid, and respectful relationships with your children. The Nurtured Heart Approach will benefit children in all ages and stages from the easy going child to the strong-willed and intense child.
