Home For The Holidays Letter Writing Contest

Mayor Stephanie Miner invites all students from the Syracuse City School District interested in helping her light the 2011 Holiday tree to write her a letter explaining their families Holiday traditions. All entries should include the student’s name, grade, home phone number, the name of the student’s school and the name of the child’s parent or guardian.

The Mayor will select three winners to join her in Clinton Square on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. to participate in the tree lighting ceremony. All student entries must be received by Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 5 p.m. The winners will be notified on November 18, 2011 by 5 p.m.

The winning entries will be posted on the City’s web site and displayed in the City Hall Lobby.
