A recent addition to Pupil Services is the Community of Caring initiative and the Character Education research grant. Pupil Services has assisted schools in the initiation of Character Education programs to foster a school environment that enables students to achieve in a safe and caring environment. The Pupil Services Department oversees the implementation and monitoring of Syracuse City Schools' current student Code of Conduct.
