Taylor Nunez is the high school’s valedictorian and will be attending Syracuse University in the fall. What is the one thing that helped you succeed in high school? The block schedule system Who is your most memorable teacher and why? Ms. Files who taught history. She made her class engaging. What one word would your friends use to describe you? Argumentative What accomplishment are you most proud of? Winning the Coronet Scholarship from Syracuse University What is your favorite food? Thanksgiving dinner What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now? Working as a research scientist Who is your hero and why? J.K. Rowling because of how she created the Harry Potter characters. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? Stop procrastinating What will you miss most about high school? My friends	Bradley Addison will attend SUNY IT in the fall. What is the one thing that helped you succeed in school? The Upward Bound program, also my family and friends. Who is your most memorable teacher? Mr. Little from Nottingham What one word would your friends use to describe you? Weirdo What accomplishment are you most proud of? Multitasking – I can do many positive things at once, for example I took at class at OCC, did Upward Bound and had a job. What is your favorite food? Pizza What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now? In 10 years I hope to have a career in civil engineering. Who is your hero and why? My hero is my mom because she has been through many hardships and she is holding everything down. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? I would be more outgoing, I tend to be a little shy and in order to be successful in life you have to talk to people and network. What advice would you give underclassmen? Colleges are expecting really high grades and lots of extracurricular activities so get started in your freshmen year and don’t take academics lightly because the colleges you want to attend won’t accept you and you will have to settle for less.	M’Tia Williams plans to attend Onondaga Community College in the fall and major in communications. She then hopes to transfer to Syracuse University or Le Moyne College. What is the one thing that helped you succeed in school? My teachers and being prepared outside of class. Who is your most memorable teacher and why? I have two, Mr. Hipius and Mrs. Root were both good. What one word would your friends use to describe you? Outspoken What accomplishment are you most proud of? Getting good grades throughout high school. What is your favorite food? Grilled cheese What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now? I want to become a film critic. Who is your hero and why? My Dad and Mom because they are always caring and loving. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? I wish I was nicer to people. What advice would you give underclassmen? Study, study, study!!!!!!

Will Wright will attend Le Moyne College in the fall. What is the one thing that helped you succeed in school? Teachers, mostly they always help. Who is your most memorable teacher and why? My grandfather, in an ironic way. What will you miss most about high school? My friends and teachers, the relationships in general. What advice would you give underclassmen? Do your work, don’t sleep in class and do your college prep	Riley McKnight is the salutatorian for Corcoran. He will attend Clarkson University in the fall and plans to major in mechanical engineering. What is the one thing that helped you succeed in school?
