Teams from Fowler and Nottingham high schools joined with 396 teams from more than 20 countries at the VEX Robotics Competition World Championship at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Fowler’s team of Tuyen Q Huynh and Tuyen Huynh finished 88th in the competition. The students had a few mechanical issues and Robert Woolery, the team’s advisor, and a science teacher at Fowler, said the duo narrowly missed finishing in the top 25.
