Dear Families,

It's hard to believe the end of the school year is just a few weeks away! Please keep an eye on our website and social media channels in the coming weeks as we feature some of our outstanding Class of 2026 graduates.

Please note there will be no school on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. Due to the harsh winter this year and our inclement weather day usage, we have used all contingency days so the dates marked as such on our District calendar (May 22 and 26) are now in session days. If you have any questions about the school schedule, please contact your child's school office.

May 8 @ 7 pm & May 9 @ 11 am - HW Smith "Alice in Wonderland, Jr."
May 25 - NO SCHOOL (Memorial Day)
May 30 - Everybody Counts: The Greatest Hits (for PK-8th Grade) @ Everson Museum of Art - 10 am - 1 pm

Say Yes Syracuse

Say Yes Syracuse offers eligible SCSD students full-tuition college scholarships! Text SAYYES to (315) 562-7154 to receive announcements, reminders and Say Yes newsletters. Learn more at SayYesSyracuse.org.

The Say Yes 2026 Post-Summer Program employs a multifaceted approach to supporting college students who are Say Yes eligible through one of two gateway courses offered by Onondaga Community College (OCC). Any Say Yes student can take up to 7 credits and enroll in ENG103-Critical Writing 1, ENG104-Critical Writing & Lit 2, MAT114-Intermediate Algebra/ Apps, MAT143-Pre-Calculus with Trig, and/or MAT161-Calculus 1 for FREE.

Apply by May 25th: You are invited to sign up for this five-week course schedule to take place during Summer Session I, from June 1 to July 7, 2026. Click here to learn more!
