Important Update: New Transportation and Start Time Schedule

Dear Syracuse City School District Families,

 

Beginning this fall, the Syracuse City School District will implement a new two-tier transportation schedule designed to provide more reliable and efficient bus service for our students and families.

 

By focusing on two consistent transportation runs each day, we will be able to improve overall efficiency and better support on-time arrivals and departures across the district.


Schools will operate on one of the following schedules:

  • A Block: School Day 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (Student Arrival Begins at 7:20 AM)

  • B Block: School Day 8:40 AM – 3:10 PM (Student Arrival Begins at 8:30 AM)

We understand that changes to school schedules may require adjustments for some families. We appreciate your flexibility and partnership as we make this important improvement to our transportation system. Our goal is to provide safe, reliable, and consistent transportation services while supporting student success each day.
