The Career Field:
Working on today's high-tech cars requires technicians with an understanding of science and technology in order to repair them. The number of vehicles in use in the U.S. is expected to continue to rise and technicians will be needed to perform basic maintenance and repair to keep them running. There is a shortage of qualified automotive technicians today, and research shows this trend will continue. Skilled auto technicians will find job security and excellent pay far into the future.
The Program:
Students spend time in the classroom and then apply what they've learned on real cars in our state-of-the-art facilities. Training includes diagnosis and repair of all automotive systems using modern tools and diagnostic equipment, with an emphasis on:.
