Welcome back to school Delaware Dolphins! The 2022-2023 school year is not far away. All of the staff here at Delaware are eager to welcome all of our Delaware Scholars back to school. Our summer programs at Bellevue and Seymour have prepared you for continued growth into our upcoming school year and we are excited to celebrate all of your progress.

Our first day of school is Wednesday, September 7th, 2022. Our hours for the '22-'23 school year are from 8:30-3:00pm. Students are welcome to enter the building at 8:20am, grab breakfast and head to their classes.

Let's make sure transportation is all set. Please reach out to the main office if you have recently moved so that we can ensure bussing is situated for your child at the start of the school year (if your child is eligible for bussing).

Can't wait to see you all on the first day of school. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the main office 315-435-4540.

SCSD Teachers Meet Their Goals Thanks to New Impact Coaches SCSD Teachers Meet Their Goals Thanks to New Impact Coaches: In Molli Brown’s classroom at Delaware Primary, first graders complete a timed math fluency test – called a math sprint – three or four times a week.   When they finish, they run to the front of the room, grab a crayon, and shade in how many questions they got right on their personal goal tracker.   When they reach their math goal – which each student sets for himself or herself each month – they get to ring a special bell to celebrate their progress. ... more >>

A short time later, she had created a not-for-profit, Building HER, not affiliated with the Syracuse City School District, which serves hundreds of young women in fourth through eleventh grade across more than nine City schools, as well as surrounding districts.   The group ... more >>
