Second Grade Students Write Their Own Book

In the Spring of 2023, Van Duyn 2nd grade students collaborated to write and illustrate their own professionally published book in partnership with author Mark Eischen (Boundless Books). During the Summer of 2023, Van Duyn and Meachem 4th and 5th graders had the same opportunity to become published authors and illustrators. Both books are available on Amazon, with any royalties from book sales supporting the non-profit organization Make a Wish Foundation.
