Meet Our First 'Stars of the SCSD'
Because our staff are the heart of everything we do, we have started a new Stars of SCSD campaign as a simple way to say thank you. Every day, our staff show up for our students, families, and staff in ways that often go unseen.
Staff will be recognized regularly for their dedication, professionalism, and commitment - for making a meaningful difference in our school communities. This is about celebrating great work and honoring the people who make SCSD a place where students can succeed!

Tatiana Meneses
Meachem Kindergarten Consultant Teacher Tatiana Meneses is in her second year of teaching. She has shown leadership and perseverance to implement the Enhanced Kindergarten model. She demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills with staff to serve our students, and building leaders praise how Ms. Meneses builds strong relationships and truly cares for her students.
Audrey Rosenthal
Grant Middle School Social Studies teacher Audrey Rosenthal completed her NYU residency at Grant a couple of years ago and ever since, has been taking leadership roles and going above and beyond for students! Audrey is on the school’s Instructional Leadership Team and is the Social Studies Content Liaison. Most recently, she partnered with Nottingham’s 1st Amendment 1st Voice group – leading Grant students in learning about their rights and how to become active citizens within their school and their community.
