Nottingham Alumna Inspires Current Students to Pursue Their Passions

Nottingham High School alumna Natasha Alford (’04) recently returned to her alma mater to participate in a question & answer session with a group of SUPA and AP history students. The acclaimed journalist and author spoke about her book, American Negra, which she calls ‘a love story to Syracuse’ and a coming-of-age tale. She spoke about the power of a young person’s mind and encouraged the students to listen to the desires of their hearts and become involved in activities they are passionate about.
