Proposed District Safety Plan Now Open for Public Comment

As we welcome students and staff back to our schools in person, we are excited to continue in person learning and see the smiling faces of our wonderful students, staff and greater school community.

The District Department of Public Safety has retained its focus on school safety and planning to maintain a safe environment for all of our school community stakeholders. They continue to review all of our existing practices, plans, and systems with a focus on areas in need of improvement.

Each year, the revised District Safety Plan is made available for public comment before it is adopted. We encourage you to review the proposed plan and share your feedback through Let's Talk.

Please see below to view the proposed District Safety Plan, the presentation about it (given at a Board of Education meeting on August 24th) and other relevant documents.

Thank you in advance for your continuing contribution to school safety!
