SCSD Half Day - Friday, December 8, 2023 (Shelter in Place/Early Dismissal Drill)
This is a reminder that Friday, December 8th is a half day for students in the SCSD. In addition to the half day, the District will be conducting the annual shelter in place drill in conjunction with an early dismissal drill. Both of these drills are a part of the SCSD Emergency Plan and are done to help students and staff prepare for an emergency situation.The shelter in place drill will take place just prior to dismissal. All students will be dismissed 10 minutes prior to their school’s normal half day dismissal time as part of the early dismissal drill.
