Cosmetology Advisory Council

Syracuse City School District students will have an opportunity to work at a real salon located at the Public Service Leadership Academy. They will gain hands-on experiences in many aspects of cosmetology field. Through class instruction and working in the salon, students will be prepared for both the New York State written and practical examinations.  Upon completion of the two-year program, students will be issued an application to apply for their temporary license. 

Advisory Council members should have expertise in barbering, cosmetology, marketing and business operation.  Advisory Council Members:
