OCC Partnership Expands Into Three SCSD Schools OCC Partnership Expands Into Three SCSD Schools: In the 2016-17 school year, Onondaga Community College announced a partnership with McKinley-Brighton Elementary. OCC staff visited the school to help students make journals, create spin art to learn about centripetal force, create personal superheroes that are now on display in the new OCC Coulier Library and more. SCSD Schools Host Fundraisers for Paige’s Butterfly Run SCSD Schools Host Fundraisers for Paige’s Butterfly Run: Students at Bellevue, Ed Smith and Dr. King enjoyed wearing their pajamas to school one day this fall, and they did it for a good cause. Roberts & ITC Students Help Curate OHA Exhibition Roberts & ITC Students Help Curate OHA Exhibition: Students from Roberts and ITC recently worked with the Onondaga Historical Association to help curate an exhibition, “We Make America: Stories of Sanctuary and Immigration.”   Focused on exploring the migration of Syracuse residents, including the immigrant and refugee experience, students interviewed friends or family members who came from another nation.
