PSLA at Fowler Students Celebrate ‘National GIS Day’: The mapping of suggested routes for bicycle lanes… the analysis of Centro bus routes… the coordination of public safety resources to save lives…   What do these things have in common? They all require geographic information systems (GIS) technology. Improvement in SCSD Schools Recognized by NYS: The State Education Department recently released performance data for SCSD schools in receivership. The data, from the 2015-16 school year, showed all 9 of our receivership schools making Demonstrable Improvement. Notable highlights vary by school but include things like an increase in standardized test performance, decrease in the number of suspensions, increase in graduation rate, drop in the number of serious incidents and more.   Overall, SCSD schools met or exceeded 69 percent of ... more >>
SCSD College Fair Brings 60+ Schools to Syracuse: At the SCSD College Fair, students worked their way through a ballroom at the OnCenter, stopping at various booths to speak with representatives from more than 60 institutions of higher education.   “I want to go to school for sports journalism,” Nottingham junior Shakim Muhafiz said. “I met with SU and another school that offers a good program. NJROTC Emphasizes Success:       The Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps or NJROTC is a nationwide program offered as a career and technical education (CTE) pathway for students of the Public Service Leadership Academy (PSLA) at Fowler High School. Regents Exams
Regents exams begin on January 24. Don't go in cold. Attend Regent's review classes. Check with the office or your teachers for times and locations.

Regents Week Attendance
Regular school will NOT be in session during Regents Exams. 1/23 and 1/27 are regular school days. ALL students should attend. 1/24-1/26 Students attend ONLY if testing. Community Based students should attend everyday.

Science Saturday
Review for your January Science Regents in Living Environment or Earth Science at Science Saturday Jan 21 9am-12pm at PSLA@Fowler. Lunch is provided!

Auditions for the spring musical "In the Heights" will be Wednesday, January 11th at 2:45 in room 192C (Mr. Rossi's room).  Please see either Mr. Rossi or Ms. Hamblin before Wednesday to pick up audition materials or with questions.
