Growing in Montessori Grant Brings Nature into the Classroom Growing in Montessori Grant Brings Nature into the Classroom: Kindergarten and Pre-K classes at Montessori at LeMoyne each have their own mini garden complete with sunflowers, beans and flower bulbs, thanks to a grant funded by the SCSD Educational Foundation .   Teacher Laura Vogelsang applied for the grant to help students explore nature through growing edible plants in the classroom. Parent Information Sessions 2018 announced Parent Information Sessions 2018 announced: Montessori at LeMoyne will be enrolling 3 year olds for the 2018-2019 school year! Are you or someone you know interested in Montessori education for your child.  Come to one of the information sessions to find out what Montessori at LeMoyne can offer you.  Registration will be open for children who will be 3 years old by December 1, 2018.  Registration begins February 1st. Join us and nearly 20 local organizations on Thursday, November 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the LeMoyne Gym to learn more about what our community has to offer. Also, enjoy pizza* and refreshments! (*pizza provided by PFO)

Please use the list below to help us supply snack in your child’s classroom. All snack suggestions are peanut free at this time. If you would prefer to provide $5 we will purchase the snack for you.  Snack will be requested in September, January, and April.

Hello Monarch families.  I did send out an email/phone call/text regarding school communications and information.  If you don't get all 3 messages by tomorrow morning please call the school so we can get your information set up correctly.  Check the download section of this site for more information about our wonderful Montessori school!  Thank you!

Supply List ages 3-6
Montessori Primary School Supply List
Beach towel/blanket for rest time
One bottle of unscented hand sanitizer (10 oz.)
Labeled change of clothes including underwear and socks
Box of tissues
Book bag
Baby wipes
Outdoor shoes
Appropriate outdoor clothing based on the weather.

Supply List ages 6-9
Montessori Six-Year-Old Classroom Supply List
4 composition notebooks (like the black and white speckled kind). Please label with name and Journal, Language, Math, Cultural.      
box of number 2 pencils
  1 box of colored pencils 12 count
   1  pencil pouch or box (Please no hand held pencil
   1 plastic folder
   1  4 count package of Dry Erase markers
small glue sticks or 2 large
roll of paper towels
box of tissues
container of Clorox wipes
      1 large backpack labeled with child’s name
Change of clothes in a plastic bag labeled with child’s name to keep in backpack.

YMCA Before & After School Child Care
Register now for 2018-19 before and after school care, provided by the YMCA at LeMoyne Elementary School.

Our program is flexible around your schedule: register for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week, AM (7 - 9 am) or PM (Dismissal to 6 pm) or both! 

Children registered for 5 days get a FREE youth membership with the ability to upgrade to a family membership.
