SCSD Releases Statement Regarding NYS Attorney General's Investigation

The Syracuse City School District released a statement today regarding the investigation of the district by the Civil Rights Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General.  The Office of the Attorney General, based on the review of publicly available documents and information, an assessment of public data and information from multiple complainants is investigating the district’s compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Individuals with Disabilities Act and New York Education Law 3214.
 
The Syracuse City School District welcomes this investigation and has been cooperating with the Attorney General’s Office through the investigation.
