Proposed SCSD Safety Plan Open for Public Comment

The Syracuse City School District Board of Education will hold a Public Hearing on August 26, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. in the District Board Room, 725 Harrison Street, Syracuse, New York. The proposed District Safety Plan was presented at the Board’s Work Session on August 24, 2020 and is now available on the District website.
 
The Public Hearing is an opportunity for all interested parties to provide comments and questions regarding the District’s Safety Plan.  The Plan document will be available on the District’s website, and the public comment period will be open for 30 days.
 
While physical attendance at the Public Hearing will not be permitted, those wishing to view or participate in the August 26, 2020 Public Hearing should go to: https://meet.lync.com/scsd/brskype1/Q9VS6BGB
 
Those who wish to address the Board of Education regarding the District Safety Plan should make this known by typing their name and that they wish to comment in the chat function upon logging in to the Public Hearing. Speakers are asked to limit their comments to no more than three minutes. The only permitted topic is the District Safety Plan. In addition, comments can be sent to the Board of Education via email at BoardofEducation@scsd.us
