No School for Students-Monday, January 3, 2022

Published on 1/2/22   Tagged under:    District News

Due the increasing number of positive COVID-19 cases being reported across the District and the lack of substitutes available to cover their absences, there will be no school for students in the Syracuse City School District tomorrow, Monday, January 3rd.

We will still be providing take at home COVID-19 tests for every student in the district.  The test kits will be available at your child’s home school between 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM tomorrow.  We will also be handing out testing kits at our high schools (Corcoran, Henninger, Institute of Technology, Nottingham and PSLA at Fowler) and at Clary Middle School tomorrow evening between 5:00-7:PM.  All distribution sites will be drive through.

Tomorrow evening there will also be online Co-Video chats that will provide details on how to administer the tests should you have questions.  In addition, we will be hosting another vaccination clinic on January 10th for those students, staff and parents who have yet to be vaccinated.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding, and for doing your part to keep our schools and buildings safe places to learn and work.
