SCSD Takes On Syracuse WorkForce Run
Nearly 100 Syracuse City School District employees braved the heat to participate in the 2026 Syracuse WorkForce Run on the Onondaga Lake Parkway on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
Due to high temperatures and humidity, race organizers modified the event from a run/walk event to a two-mile walk to help ensure participant safety. SCSD was proud to be among 135 local companies represented at the annual event, which promotes health, wellness, teamwork, and camaraderie in the workplace.
More than 4,000 participants took part in this year's event, showcasing the strong community spirit and commitment to healthy living across Central New York.
