Bring the News to Life with NBC Learn

NBC Learn K-12 is an online resource with thousands of videos from NBC News that you and your students can use in classwork, homework, presentations and instruction.

The Syracuse City School District has had access to NBC Learn since 2013, thanks to a donation from Syracuse University. We’re now happy to report that the district is making NBC Learn available to you through June 2016!

Besides the historic primary-source newscasts from the NBC News archive, NBC Learn K-12 is updated daily with the latest current events video from NBC News and original educational videos created specifically for the classroom. The high-quality resources in NBC Learn K-12 are correlated to New York State and Common Core standards for ELA/Literacy and Math.






NBC Learn’s more than 18,000 resources are aligned to collections like: You’ll also have access to NBC Learn’s Original Collections, like:  Plus an upcoming series on Natural Hazards and Nanotechnology!

Accessing NBC Learn is easy:
From a district computer, please navigate to: archives.nbclearn.com. You’ll see “Welcome, Syracuse City School District” in the upper right hand corner. Start browsing!
