Code of Conduct, Character and Support: Resources

SCSD teachers are committed to educating the whole child and providing ongoing support to all students as they learn and practice the behaviors and routines that help create a safe and productive school climate.  This approach to character development will help students develop the skills of self-control, frustration tolerance and problem solving across a variety of situations.  Students will learn to be healthy, happy citizens of their school and will be prepared for successful careers in the workplace as adults.

Educators, you will find Code of Conduct, Character and Support Lesson Starters here as well as a list of resources for developing educators skills in promoting character development and supporting student social emotional learning.  Also find resources to expand your skill set in supporting your students and learn more about the supports available through the Office of Student Support and partner agencies.
