8th Grade High School Choice and Transfer Application
The Syracuse City School District is proud to announce that our 2022-2023 High School Choice and Transfer application period is now open! The online survey is available through January 31, 2022. Please visit for more information or Click Here to complete the survey. All 8th graders MUST have a survey on file by January 31st whether they are interested in a High School Choice program, a transfer (based on eligibility) or just moving on to their feeder high school, when applicable. The survey will allow you to let us know either way.  Submission of a survey does not guarantee placement in your child’s school or program of choice. Please remember that your child’s Student ID is required to complete the survey.  That information was included in the 8th grade transition letter that was mailed home in November.  Please feel free to call (315) 435 – 4905 and ask to speak with our school counselor, Ms. Riley, should you have any additional questions. Thank you!
