School Community Country

Today ITC students taught, learned, and served to not only improve themselves, but the community they live in.  The day started with seniors teaching their fellow students about the history of ITC.  Throughout the remainder of the day students participated in sessions focused on the history and importance of Veterans Day and learning about, and fostering, school spirit.  It was also a beautiful day to get outside and the students took full advantage of the nice weather to not only learn about some of the history behind Billing’s Park, but helped clean it up, along with the front of the old Central High School.  Be on the lookout next Spring, as the students planted lots of tulips to brighten up Billing’s Park for the community to enjoy.

A special thanks to all the students and staff that helped make today a success, especially the planning team of Mr. Primerano, Mr. Mastine, Ms. Grulich, Mr. Flanders, Ms. Santiago, Ms. Rothenberg, Ms. Alfieri, Mr. Lisi, Ms. Argus, and Ms. Lopez.
