Health Professions Advisory Council

This course has been designed to prepare SCSD students who have identified an interest in the health Professions for a clear career goal in the field. Students will participate in a rigorous academic program with hands-on experience in medical careers.   Students will learn through classroom instruction and practice in a clinical skills lab. The course will introduce students to multiple Health Profession Careers focusing on the core fundamentals of the health profession fields and building career readiness skills in effective communication and medical ethics.
 
Advisory Council members should have expertise in nursing/health careers/long-term care and acute care.
