NYGEAR UP

GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) is a national discretionary grant program that creates innovative programming to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.

Fellowship Opportunity from the Mercatus Center George Mason University. 
Exploring Complex Solutions for a Complex World Fellowship 

 
This fellowship is a semester-long, online fellowship from the Mercatus Center at George Mason University for high school students interested in understanding political, economic, and social life. If you have any questions, please  email  LavoieHighSchoolFellowship@mercatus.gmu.edu .

Requirments: 1. You must be enrolled in high school AND You must be at least 16 years old this upcoming academic year. In the application are 6 short essay questions.

This yearly competition invites scholars across the U.S. to submit their original” Google Doodle” inspired by a personal theme. Nevertheless, their artwork could appear on the Google homepage — seen by millions and unlock amazing educational prizes, if chosen.
 
  • Level of Study: K–12 students (Age 13+)
  • Submission Medium: Any form—crayons, paint, digital art, clay, or mixed media
