If you see Salsabeel Khazaleh or Jenna Lacey, please congratulate them! They are our 1st and 2nd place winners, respectively, of the Poetry Out Loud Competition that took place before break. They will be representing Corcoran at a regional competition at Onondaga Community College on February 23, at 6pm. They were absolutely fabulous.

Thank you to everyone who came down and those who sent kids to the Poetry Out Loud Competition event. The chorus sounded beautiful and got us started. Demetrius Webb emceed the event and Ryan Brown did our lights! We had four beautiful dancers from Nepal perform two cultural dances for us! The competitors were so incredible – it was a horrible job having to judge! They all left the judges speechless. To make a great day better, our audience was so supportive, attentive, respectful, and just fabulous!
Thank you so much if you were able to come down and enjoy the event. We really appreciated the great audience! Thank you especially to Greg Hipius, Theresa Ladd, Erin Clarke, Sarah Snell (from Nottingham), Lisa Ottman, Kendal Salehi, Julie Knack, Jamie Gartner and Sally Fisher for making this event run smoothly! Thank you to administration for supporting this and especially to the custodial staff for helping us with the auditorium!
