Healthcare Professions are the fastest growing occupations in the United States. The U.S. Department of Labor predicts that by 2029, the need for health care workers will increase by more than 15 percent, adding 2.4 million jobs. 
 
The Health Professions program at Henninger provides an edge for students with a desire to enter a variety of health careers, including Physical Therapy, Health Information Technology, Surgical Technology, Radiation Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Physician’s Assistant and many others. 
 
Our program will introduce students to infection control, medical terminology, human growth and development, anatomy and physiology, structure and function of body systems, the study of diseases and the disease process, healthcare technology, medical ethics and jurisprudence, standards of professional conduct, patient communication and the fundamentals of patient care.
