8th Grade Scholars Explore NYC

Earlier this month 47 Lincoln scholars visited New York City. To attend this trip scholars had to be passing all core classes, have 90% attendance, complete community service, have parent attendance at a PTO meeting and earn no referrals. While in New York City students visited the Museum of Natural History, 9/11 Memorial and Museum, Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Students were very excited to share all the new things they learn such as “the Statue of Liberty foot is stepping forward towards freedom.” Everyone had a great time. Thank you to Nick Stamoulacatos for all your support with our trip!
