GMS 8th grade students just returned from 3 days in Baltimore and Washington, D.C.  In Baltimore, GMS scholars enjoyed the Inner Harbor, the Science Center and the National Aquarium.  GMS scholars were very grateful that the Megladon Shark is extinct!  We finished our evening in Maryland by enjoying the feast at the Medieval Times Restaurant, enjoying jousts, falcons, and Spanish Horse War Maneuvers.  Day Two brought us to Washington, D.C., where we toured the National Museum of African American History and Culture.  We also visited the other Smithsonian Museums and toured the monuments.  We ended the evening with a wonderful dinner/dance cruise along the Potomac River.  Day Three brought us to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, enjoying walking around Washington to the International Spy Museum.  It was a trip to always remember.  Thank you so much Ms. Kiley, Mrs. Francis and Mrs. Alessandro for all of your hardwork orgnaizing and fund raising to make this trip come true!
