Welcome to the Huntington PreK-8 website! On this page you will find various links to important and helpful information about your child's school, including upcoming events, sports, our after-school programs, and contact information for staff and our PTO. You can also learn about our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports for ALL Students) program, our Panther Pride words, and our Huntington School Creed.

At Huntington we have a No Bullying policy, and all students are treated in a fair and respectful manner. By setting high expectations and standards for behavior, academic achievement, and personal growth, by providing supportive systems to assure they are met, and engaging parents and the community, it is our goal at Huntington School that all students are college or career ready. Our mission is to encourage each child to become a lifelong learner by performing to his or her potential in a safe and challenging learning environment.

Education and safety receive the highest priority in our school community. We strive to implement best practices, integrating social and academic learning in every aspect of the school day. By teaching and reinforcing expectations, routines, and our school rules, we believe students can best focus on their most important job of learning.

Lastly, in order to achieve the maximum educational growth for your child, a collaborative partnership between you and our school is needed and encouraged. Your involvement with your child's education is vital to his/her academic success. I invite you to call or visit the school often, attend PTO meetings, and communicate with your child's teacher regularly. Please feel free to contact me at any time.
