Check out a few of their responses below, and keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter accounts to see the latest points of #SCSDPride!
Frazer Pre-K-8 School
"After 34 plus years of teaching Kindergarten at Frazer, I thought I would try something different: flexible seating. I was a little nervous in the beginning thinking of how I was going to organize it and manage it and make sure the kids wouldn't fight and argue over where they were sitting. A surprise to me: it worked out great, and kids love it. Organizing it was easy... I built it into my "kids taking attendance" chart. I really like it, and I think they do too!"

LeMoyne Elementary School
"I love the fact that former students come from all over the city to bring their children back to their alma mater, LeMoyne Elementary School! I have been lucky enough to work with dozens of 2nd generation LeMoyne students. I started working here in 1991, and believe me, we are family!"
- Teacher Nicolina Pizzuto
Porter Elementary School
"I am proud of my classroom. I had my relatives help this summer, as I am new to Porter. It is bright and colorful , and full of interesting things to inspire and wonder about. In addition, I am pleased as punch that my administration smiles and laughs, and helps out in any way they can. They are a team of supporters, and it makes all the difference in the world. It makes me feel excited to be here, and to come to work every morning."
