The Syracuse City School District will continue to provide computing devices to students in need and will be distributing hot spots to families without internet access to support 3 MB per month. Computing devices and hot spots will be made available for pickup from schools.

Book a virtual appointment with a school librarian for help getting started with remote learning, troubleshooting technical issues and for homework support. Once you have booked your appointment, please check your email. You will access your appointment by clicking on the link that is sent to you.

WiFi Access
The SCSD community may access free WiFi in the main parking lot of Corcoran, Henninger, Nottingham, PSLA at Fowler, Seymour, STEAM at Dr. King, Van Duyn, and Webster. This is the same internet access that students would have while in school and is filtered appropriately.
Select 'SCSD Vendor' from your WiFi settings
You will be redirected to a browser to sign onto the network
Enter student username and password into the spaces noted. Click on the accept the terms of use checkbox and select 'Log in'.
Seesaw (Grades PK-5)
Students in grades PK-5 participate in online coursework using Seesaw.
Microsoft Teams may be used in Grades K-12 for video conferencing on remote learning days. Download the Teams App onto your computer and/or phone or access via Clever.
TalkingPoints is a free parent-teacher messaging app with translations in English and over 20 other languages. The Syracuse City School District will be using TalkingPoints to communicate with parents through a mobile app or text messages in your home language.
