Syracuse City School District to Welcome Students Back September 14th

The opening day of school for students for the 2020-2021 school year will now be Monday, September 14, 2020. Students were originally scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 8th.

The additional week is intended to provide staff members with professional development and go over expectations and protocols for the upcoming school year. Students will still be learning through a hybrid model, with Pre-K through 8th grade students attending school in person two days a week and learning online three days a week. High school students will now attend school in person one day a week and take part in virtual learning four days a week.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these unique circumstances!
