SCSD to Host Charter School Public Hearing on October 4th
The Syracuse City School District will hold a Public Hearing on October 4th regarding OnTECH Charter High School. The school is seeking a “Renewal with Revisions.” The Charter school is requesting a decrease to student enrollment (from 360 to 300 students) as well as amendments made to its organizational chart, by-laws, and board policies (including personnel policies and student discipline code), to reflect significant changes for the 2022-23 school year. The school welcomes any comments Syracuse City School District residents wish to provide.The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 4:30 – 5:30 pm in the Central Office Board Room (725 Harrison Street). Media are welcome to attend.
