Van Duyn Community Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

We're proud of the ways the SCSD community gives back!

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, staff at Van Duyn Elementary have been participating in Fade to Pink Friday. Each Friday throughout the school year, staff usually wear red to show their school spirit. During October, staff fade to pink in support of those who fought and won, those who are still fighting, and those who have yet to fight. As a building, they are also collecting money to donate to Shades of Inspiration, Inc., an organization which supports those who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
