SCSD students have the opportunity to study American Sign Language, Arabic, French, and Spanish. The World Languages program promotes multilingualism, cultural appreciation, and global readiness. The curriculum supports students in developing interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communication skills in the target language. High school students may also pursue the New York State Seal of Biliteracy, which formally recognizes their proficiency in English and at least one additional language, enhancing college and career opportunities.
