The Syracuse City School District is pleased to announce the launch of a new initiative aimed at making it easier for district stakeholders to communicate with the district.
“Let’s Talk!” is an online tool that allows users to submit questions, comments, suggestions and concerns about a variety of issues, including academics, the district’s Code of Conduct, budget and more.
Superintendent Sharon Contreras says the program is critical to keeping lines of communication open between students, families and district staff.
“At the Syracuse City School District, we are committed to engaging all members of our community in the decisions that influence the education of our children,” Contreras said. “The idea for ‘Let’s Talk!’ grew out of our desire to make it easier for parents, families and community members to ask questions, express concerns and provide feedback on district policy and procedures.  The Syracuse City School District is at its most successful when we forge and maintain strong relationships between our students, their families, community members and our faculty and district staff. I hope all members of the SCSD community will take advantage of this new communication tool, and I welcome the opportunity to hear additional feedback about our district’s operations.”
