Retiree and Years of Service Individuals Honored by SCSD

Close to 70 individuals retiring from the Syracuse City School District and dozens more with over 25 years of service were recognized this week for their commitment to the children of the City of Syracuse.
 
At the annual Retiree and Years of Service Awards, Superintendent Contreras and Board of Education President Michelle Mignano led the celebration of these individuals and their dedication to the district. Henninger High School Principal Rob DiFlorio served as the Master of Ceremonies, and Acting Executive Director of Talent Management Lisa Wade presented Retirement and Combined Retirement and Service Awards. Christopher Miller, Director of Recruitment and Selection, presented Years of Service Awards.
