SCSD Students Become Avid Readers Thanks to Mayor’s Summer Reading Challenge: As part of the Mayor’s Summer Reading Challenge, SCSD students were tasked with reading as much as they could this summer. New York State Assessments in April: Our students have been working hard all year with their learning.  They will be ready to do their best on the New York State Assessments in April.  The New York State Assessments in ELA for grades 3-5 will be administered April 5 th through the 7 th .  The Math Assessments for grade 3-5 are April 13 th through the 15 th .   The New York State Assessments help to prepare our students for college and careers.  The assessments provide objective information about ... more >>

Students Teaching Students!: With the help of band teacher, Ms. Kirsch, our students have been helping each other learn how to play their instruments during their weekly band lessons.
