Peaceful Schools Enrichment Program

 

The Peaceful Schools Enrichment Program supports students’ growth in the core social skills of Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control (C.A.R.E.S.). Led by our team of dedicated enrichment instructors, students will engage in fun, hands-on, project-based learning in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (S.T.E.A.M.).

The Peaceful Schools Enrichment Program aims to help students develop social competence, reduce incidences of youth violence, and establish value in and connection to their community. Peaceful Schools is committed to giving everyone the power to be peaceful.

Enrichment Program at Lincoln Middle School: 2017-2018

 

This year at Lincoln, students are given the opportunity to select four semester-long enrichment courses. Course offerings include: Photography, Videography, Game Design, Dance, Drumming and Percussion, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Video Game Design, Step, Cooking and Nutrition, Building Women, and Building Men.

Peaceful Schools is proud to be entering our 2^nd year providing high-quality enrichment programming as the Community-Based Partner at Lincoln through the SCSD Extended Learning Time initiative.
