Dear Syracuse City School District Families and Staff,

We were informed today by the Onondaga County Health Department that we have two students who have tested positive for COVID-19.

The first student is from Salem Hyde and has not been in school since October 30th and the second attends Syracuse STEM at Blodgett and was last in school October 29th.

The Onondaga County Health Department will be in touch with anyone, both staff members and students who they believe may have been exposed to the individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 and need to quarantine.

Thank you for your continued support and patience and please remember to wear your mask, socially distance and wash your hands frequently.

Jaime Alicea
Superintendent of Schools
