On Friday March 4th, Mr. Williams' Earth Science students visited the Syracuse Latin School to teach 1st grade students about geology. The 9th graders did an awesome job teaching the 1st grade students!  Each student guided a pair of 1st grade students through 16 stations to identify rocks as sedimentary, igneous, or metamorphic.  My students then helped the 1st graders graph their data, and we ended with each table of students playing a board game called "Rock Cycle Roundabout".
