All of the students in Ms. Johnson’s and Mr. Shehadi’s  fifth grade classes worked very hard collecting bottles and cans to earn money to donate to the SPCA. The students created posters that were displayed throughout the building, encouraging staff and students to bring in their empty cans and bottles to earn money for the SPCA. The students ended up earning $125.60! With the help of the art teacher, Ms. Kissel, the students created a giant check that they presented to Ms. Graham, a representative of the SPCA. The check was given to Ms. Graham during a school-wide assembly where all students and staff were able to celebrate the SPCA and all of the hard work of our fifth graders!
